'Leave off at seven' -

Proof of life . . . honest

Started with weakness, such that he felt the need for his walker, drooping mouth, and finally loss of the occasional word.  After a bit of discussion, finally agreed to be driven to the hospital.  On the upside, amazing how a few well verbalized symptoms of stroke streamline you right through triage.

Doctors noted in addition, very small weakness on the right.  Otherwise nothing conclusive as far as cause and therefore  . . . treatment.

"Nah, I'm fine."

"dad, even mom noticed."

"It'll go away and I'll be, I'll be, ummm, you know, I'll be ..."

"dad, you're losing words and starting to have trouble talking."

"always had communication problems, now get meeee, the ummm, you know over there, in there, you know . . ."
